Boiled Green Beans & Yuzu Miso Walnut (Vegan, Gluten-free)

2-3 servings (as side dish)


150-200g Green Beans *

30g Walnut **


1. Toast walnuts in a pan for a few minutes. Take out from the pan and let them cool down.

2. Boil water and add a pinch of salt. Cook Green Beans for 2 to 3 minutes. (To have crunchier texture and greener colour, submerge the boiled beans into ice bath immediately after they're cooked.) Drain them on paper towel and cut into 3cm length.

3. Prepare the Yuzu Miso Walnut. Chop the toasted walnuts. Put Brown Rice Miso, yuzu Spread and the chopped walnuts in a mixing bowl. Stir to mix until well combined.

4. Add the green beans into the sauce and coat them well. Then transfer to serving bowls.

*Boiled or blanched Kale is great match with this Yuzu Miso Walnut.

*Can be replaced with Carwari Organic Maple Walnut or Carwari Organic Dry Roasted Almond / Maple Almond
