Miso Apple Crumble (Vegan, Gluten-Free)

For 3-4 servings



4 or 5 small apples (400-500g) - cored and chopped

(Crumble Topping)

40g Almond Meal

30g Vegan Butter

40g Carwari Organic Maple Almond -roughly chopped


  1. Preheat oven to 160C fan-forced.

  2. Put cored & chopped apples, Mirin, Agave Nectar in a skillet over low-medium heat. Add Miso Powder and cook for 10 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, to make crumble. Put all of the crumble ingredients except Mayple Almonds into a mixing bowl. Using your fingertips, rub the vegan butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture looks like breadcrumbs. Add chopped Mayple Almonds and mix.

  4. Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the cooked apple.

  5. Bake for 10 - 15 minutes.
