Seared Scallops with Ponzu Sauce (Gluten-free)



1-2 servings as side dish

Ingredients

5-6 Scallops

2 tsps Carwari Organic Ponzu

10g Butter (non salt)

Sea salt

Olive Oil


Method

  1. Pat the scallops dry and get rid of excess moisture with paper towels. Sprinkle sea salt on both sides.

  2. Heat a skillet over midium-high heat. Add the oil to the pan. Once the oil is hot, place the scallops in the pan. Cook until browned.

  3. Flip the scallops and cook further until browned. Take out the scallops from the pan.

  4. Add butter to the pan then add Carwari Organic Mirin, then Carwari Organic Ponzu and mix.

  5. Place the scallops with garnish vegetables on serving plate and drizzle the Ponzu sauce. Serve whilst warm.
