Spicy Yuzu & Walnut Black Tahini Dark Chocolate Truffles (Dairy-free, Gluten-free)

18-20 of 2cm diameter truffles


60g Plant based Dark Chocolate - chopped

2 Tbs Carwari Organic Walnut Black Tahini (Stir well in the jar before you use)

1 Tbs Carwari Organic Yuzu Spread

1 tsp Carwari Organic Yuzu Kosho Red

Cacao Powder (no sugar added, no milk powder added)


  1. Place Walnut Black Tahini, Yuzu Spread and Yuzu Kosho in a mixing bowl and mix for 30 seconds or until well combined.

  2. Melt chopped dark chocolate in a water steam bath.

  3. Add the melted dark chocolate to the tahini & yuzu mixture and stir until well blended.

  4. Transfer the dark chocolate truffle mixture into a container and chill in fridge for an hour.

  5. Take out from fridge and scoop with a small spoon. Use your hands to roll into a ball, placing it onto a baking paper-lined plate. Repeat the process with the remaining mixture and chill for 30 minutes.

  6. Take the truffles out from the fridge and dust each truffles with cacao powder.
