Goma-dare for Hiyashi Chuka -Sesame Sauce & Chilled Cold Ramen Salad (Vegan)

2 servings



3 to 4 TBS Carwari Organic Hulled Tahini

1 to 2 TBS Carwari Organic Toasted Sesame Oil

3 TBS Carwari Organic Tamari

1 TBS Carwari Organic Brown Rice Vinegar

1 to 2 tsps Carwari Organic Agave Nectar

1 tsp Grated Ginger

80 to 100ml Water


Cook ramen noodle according to your package instruction. Rinse with cold water and drain.

>You can use angel pasta instead of ramen noodle. If so, add salt and bicarbonate soda in hot water when you cook (2 tsp salt and 3-4 tsp bicarbonate soda in 1L hot water). Cook for 4-5 minutes and rinse well with cold water and drain.


Many varieties of vegetable you can use; tomato, cucumber avocado, boiled/steamed/blanched green leaves/broccoli/green beans, canned corns, seaweed, mushrooms, fried tofu etc.

If you are not on plant based diet, you can use egg, seafood, chicken etc as well.


Carwari Organic Toasted Sesame Oil

Carwari Organic Unhulled Sesame Seeds - Toasted and lightly ground

Carwari Organic Yuzu Kosho Green / Red

Chive / Nori Seaweed


  1. (Goma-dare) Put Tahini and Tamari in a mixing bowl and stir well until well combined. Then add all other ingredients except water and mix. Add water bit by bit and mix well. Adjust the taste to your preference with amount of Tamari, Vinegar, Agave Nectar or Water.

  2. Chill the sauce in fridge until you use.

  3. (Assemble) Put cold noodle and toppings. Then pour the sauce and put garnish. Strongly recommend to drizzle Toasted Sesame Oil for extra Umami.
