100g Green beans - trimmed and cut into half lengthwise
(For the sauce)
2 teaspoons Carwari Organic Miso Paste Red
1&1/2 teaspoons Carwari Organic Yuzu Spread
1/2 teaspoon Carwari Organic Brown Rice Vinegar
1 & 1/2 tablespoons Carwari Organic White Sesame Seeds
1. Toast the sesame seeds in a pan over low heat for 10 minutes or until the seeds are lightly golden. Stir often to be toasted evenly. Transfer onto a baking sheet or a plate and let them cool to room temperature.
2. Boil salted water, add the green beans and cook for 2 minutes. (still crunchy) Transfer the boiled green beans into iced water. Once cool, drain the green beans and wipe excess water with kitchen paper.
3. Make the sauce. Grinding the toasted sesame seeds with a pestle and mortar, then mix the other sauce ingredients. Toss the green beans in the sauce and serve.
