Apple Crumble with Black Sesame Flour (Vegan)

4 servings


4 Apples (small to medium size)

1 1/2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice

1/2 to 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon (Optional)


1/4 cup Carwari Organic Dry Roasted Almond (Roughly crushed)

1/4 cup Almond Meal

1/2 cup Rolled Oats (Gluten-free Rolled Oats for Gluten-free diet)


  1. Preheat oven to 160C fan-forced. Combine apples, agave nectar and lemon juice in small saucepan over low heat. Cover and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes.

  2. Make the crumble. Combine all of the crumble ingredients in a bowl and mix with a fork.

  3. Place the lightly simmered apples into 4 oven dishes and sprinkle ground cinnamon. Place the crumble mixture over the apples.

  4. Bake in oven for 20 minutes.
