Spicy Yuzu & Mirin Teriyaki Corn (Vegan, Gluten-free)

2 servings as side dish


(Spicy Yuzu Teriyaki Sauce)

2 TBS Carwari Organic Mirin - Toasted


1 steamed or boiled corn - cut into quarter lenghtwise


  1. Prepare the sauce. Put Mirin, Yuzu Kosho Red and Tamari in a small bowl and mix.

  2. Heat a frying pan and add Extra Virgin Sesame Oil. Place the corn with kernel side down, put a lid and cook for a few minutes. Turn and cook other sides for 1-2 minutes each.

  3. Add the Yuzu Mirin Teriyaki sauce and shake the pan and coat the all sides of corn with the sauce.

  4. Drizzle Toasted Sesame Oil and coat the corn. Turn off the heat and transfer to a serving plate with the sauce in the pan.

  5. Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and place extra Yuzu Kosho Red if you want to add more zesty spiciness.
