Spicy Snake Beans with Walnut Black Tahini Hummus (Vegan, Gluten-Free)

Using Carwari Japanese Spicy Seasoning, the hummus can be made so easily.

It is slightly milder hummus as it contains walnut from Carwari Walnut Black Tahini.

Spicy Snake Beans also very easy to prepare thanks to Carwari Organic Japanese Spicy Seasoning!




Ingredients

(Black Walnut Tahini Hummus)

1 can (425g can) Chickpeas - Drained (*Reserve 10 to 20 chickpeas for decoration)

1 to 2 TBS Chickpea liquid

3 TBS Lemon Juice


(Spicy Snake Beans)

100g Snake beans

1 to 2 TBS Water for steam


(Garnish)

Pomegranate seeds

10 to 20 chickpeas* which are reserved

A wedge of lemon


Method

  1. (Preapre the hummus) Put all of the Hummus ingredients except Chickpea liquid in a food processor and process for a minute or so. Add chickpea liquid little by little to adjust consistency of the hummus and process 10 seconds or so.

  2. (Prepare Spicy Snake Beans) Heat a pan and pour Carwari Extra Virgin Sesame oil. Add snake beans and then add water. Place a lid and steam cook for a few minutes. Add Carwari Japanese Spicy Seasoning. Once the beans are softened, take off from the heat.

  3. On a serving plate, smear the hummus. Place the snake beans and scatter chickpeas. Put a lemon wedge and scatter pomegranate seeds. Sprinkle Carwari Japanese Spicy Seasoning for more flavour.
